Ruby's first Photo Shoot

Ruby had her first photo shoot at 1 week old!  We almost rescheduled because I was still exhausted from having a baby but it turns out it's best to do the newborn shoot soon after birth while they are less alert.  We had the shoot at The Pod Photography.  They are hands down the best!  We had a design meeting with them before the shoot and we talked about colors, themes. look and feel.  They take care of EVERYTHING - backdrops, outfits, accessories, and props.  They'll even buy stuff according to your theme if they don't already have it in the studio.  Seriously I was amazed at how they were able to take newborn pics.  These women really know what they are doing.  And they are a full service team from design all the way to production of albums, prints, and birth announcements.  They actually go through all the pics, discard the not so good ones, edit the good ones, and then walk you through the rest while you select pics with their designers.  I personally think this is amazing because you'll actually do something with these pics vs "never getting around to it".  In the end, we got a beautiful album and the cutest birth announcements.  

Since then I've actually already used them for a Daddy/Daughter session and Ruby's 1 year birthday shoot....because you can't have enough pictures.  :)
