Ruby's Birthday Week Kick-off

Today was one of those amazingly beautiful days.  The kind of day you never want to forget.  Rebeca, Ruby's nanny and second mom threw her a birthday party with all her besties.  These are the girls that Ruby sees almost every day at the Park, Story Time, Zimmer Museum, The Grove and sometimes at each others' houses.  This means Ruby also sees their nannies every day so it is fitting that they are all kicking off Ruby's birthday celebrations! 

Rebeca did not let me help out in anyway and I tear up every time I think about how thoughtful every single detail was.  She got to the house early with bags of stuff - decorations for a Moana themed party, 3 desserts (parfaits, fruit tart, and a cake), chicken, pasta, salad, and goodie bags with personalized gifts for each of the girls.  She even made Ruby a photo collage filled with beautiful images from her first year.  I mean it was just so sweet.  She ran around all morning cooking, decorating, and getting ready for the party.  She also bought Ruby her party outfit, this stunningly beautiful Nannete Lepore tutu set that were just the right colors on her skin. 

The party was perfect.  Ruby was just so happy!!  I am still blown away.  I do not know how lucky we are to have met this beautiful woman who I sometimes trust with Ruby more than myself but I am forever grateful.  Thank you so much Rebeca for treating Ruby like your own daughter.  We love you!
